Just had an English proficiency test from LIA.
I can't believe how hard the listening part is.
It was filled with problems like this.
Man: How about our plan for Saturday?
Woman: The weather report says it will be rainy on Saturday, but Sunday will be sunny.
QUESTION: what is the woman saying?
a. [can't remember]
b. Sunday will be sunny
c. They have to postpone their plan until Sunday
d. [can't remember]
What the f***?!!! Which one should I pick?!!!
UPDATE
It's 611 and 84 for speaking! Thank God for the structure part!
UPDATE
It's 652 and 87.
I had some sleep.

hmmm, i think you should take another test.. the first one is for your adaptation.. usually the second one should be better..
ReplyDeleteand you should add a litle concentration as well..
and how's the result?
take it easy tuss.. toefl tests are not really as hard as they seem.. and u definitely need to another test.. people say its better on the 2nd try.. hehehe
ReplyDeleteactually I have taken the real TOEFL test 10 years ago.
ReplyDeleteso this is kinda embarrassing.
it's just a simple question.. take the fact that sunday will always be sunny
ReplyDeleteI think if u've been more familiar with the listening test, it shouldn't be a problem...PF is right, take the sunny answer..because the question is "what is the woman SAYING?", not "IMPLY?"...hahaha...
ReplyDeleteanyway, 611, its a damn good result for a not-so-good-feeling after a test...so i think, u will pass the written neurology test..hahaha
ah you just write this article to brag about your english proficiency 611 cih!
ReplyDeletebwahahahaha
